Information Centre located on the corner of Sixth Ave & The Esplanade at Cotton Tree. These folks are volunteer
locals who really know their stuff. You’ll find they have heaps of suggestions on where you can go to
have holiday fun. They can book you in for tours & other activities right then & there, so you don’t miss
out on the things you want to do.
While you can easily relax, unwind & loll around on the beach or by the pool at
Maroochydore, doing not much at all, some folks come for a coastal adventure instead. Why not take advantage of
this sunny beachside destination to cross some of those things off your bucket list — do what you’ve always dreamed

In Maroochydore you can book in for a deep-sea or river-fishing tour, cruise on the canals,
snorkel in the ocean or joy-ride on a jetski. Learn to surf, or try your hand at

creatures of the deep at UnderWater World? Australia Zoo Whale Encounters — Steve Irwin’s Whale 1 Cruise
Boat is a luxurious vessel that takes guests on an exclusive Australia Zoo Whale Encounter. Departing from The
Wharf Mooloolaba, it cruises the beautiful coastline of the Sunshine Coast in search of the majestic Humpback
Whale during whale watch season.
Home of "The Crocodile Hunter", Australia Zoo is regarded as the ultimate
wildlife adventure & a must-see attraction while on the coast. Situated on 70 acres & the home to over
1000 animals, an adventure into the wild awaits. Don’t miss the show at The Crocoseum. Feed the elephants,
have an encounter with a tiger, hug a koala, be hugged by a python & don’t miss the staff feeding those
massive crocs, big, bold, nasty!
Known for its quirky architecture, Ettamogah Pub is a replica from the famous Aussie cartoon strip
celebrating its 21st birthday in 2010. And right nextdoor is Aussie World, which boasts over 30 zany classic rides
& games. Relive your childhood with your kids on the rollercoaster, ferris wheel &
dodgems!
The Big Kart Track is an opportunity to navigate chicanes, hairpins & bends
in a fast little go-kart, a true adrenaline fix with no speed limit. Fast &
furious!
The multi-award winning Ginger Factory at Yandina (originally at Buderim many, many years
ago) is a different experience that is both an informative & leisurely daytrip in a peaceful setting.
In Maroochydore, the kids will have
a ball at Top Shots Fun Park. Have a go at mini-golf, extreme trampoline, rock-climbing, arcade games, waterslide
or have a blast in the blaster boats.
For simplicity, enjoy a picturesque walk & experience the
aesthetic appeal of Mooloolaba. Stroll to The Wharf & River Marina to take in the nautical

Head southwards towards Mooloolaba
Beach & investigate the Point Cartwright Lighthouse in Kawana. Join the throngs of fitness
fanatics to rollerblade, jog or powerwalk along the Esplanade from Maroochydore, through Alexandra Headland to
Mooloolaba, out to The Spit & back again while enjoying the sweeping views of the northern beaches, Mudjimba
Island & glorious Mt. Coolum rising into the skyline.
Head northwards from Maroochydore
CBD & follow the Maroochy River explore Picnic Point, Chambers Island & hire a kayak, boat or pontoon &
explore the river at your own pace. A good fishing spot too!
